Hold on to your safety helmets, the title of the next MISSON IMPOSSIBLE movie has been announced.
During a press conference in the sunny climes of Dubai, the cast and crew told nervous (well they might have been nervous, Cruise was there you know) listeners that the title would be.
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL
…
Anyone else think that simply MI4 would’ve sufficed?
Oh er, sorry Tom… Yes I see what you mean. But, GHOST PROTOCOL? Hmmm.“One of the things that I always wanted with the franchise was for it to not have a number afterwards, because I haven’t made sequels of films, and I never really thought of these films as sequels,” says Tom Cruise.
They weren’t just in Dubai to top up there tans either, they’ll actually be filming there, particularly in the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, which stands at an incredible 2,717 feet. Wowza.
On filming in the Gulf city state, director Brad Bird expressed his excitement, saying:
GHOST PROTOCOL is scheduled to be released in December 2011.“We love the fact that it’s a big, new city … It has the scale we look for in these kind of movies, because these are big movies. I think that it’s almost like sets that you could never afford”
